Les Gorges Du Verdon

I think it's safe to say I've stepped into paradise once or twice in this lifetime. Les Gorges du Verdon left me speechless, partially because I didn't expect to find such a mesmerising sight without having to pay thousands of pounds.

My Friend Anita and I got up at about 6am to catch the coach to the beautiful Gorges du Verdon, having had slept at 3am after a spontaneous night in a club in Aix en Provence worth nothing to write home about. In our defence we were at that point at the end of our stay where we wanted to explore everything and everywhere near us because we thought we were running out of time.  

The skies were so blue. In June. In Europe. Need I say more.
